How do I download stock photos without signing up?

There is no sign-up on Cheap Stock Photos. No account, no email gate, no newsletter checkbox, no "create a free profile to continue". You find an image, you click one button, and the file lands in your downloads folder. That is the whole process.

The click path

• Start at the newest images, or go to the tag index if you prefer to browse by subject, mood, or colour. The header search also works if you already have a word in mind.
• Click any thumbnail to open its image page. You will see the picture at a comfortable preview size, the title, a short description, and a row of tag chips underneath.
• Press the button labelled "Download JPG". It is the only button you need and it sits right beside the image.

The browser saves the file immediately. There is no countdown timer, no "wait 30 seconds" screen, no captcha, and no second page asking for your address.

What you receive

The download is a JPG named after the image slug, the same words you see at the end of the address bar on that page. A picture whose slug is rainy-street-at-night arrives as rainy-street-at-night.jpg, which keeps your folders readable and makes it easy to find the source page again later.

The kept file has no watermark. What you see on the page is what you get, without a logo stamped across the corner and without a "free version" that is smaller than the "real" one. Stock photos here go up to 8K, meaning 7680 pixels on the long side, which is enough for large prints, full-width hero banners, and heavy cropping.

Limits, and the lack of them

A person clicking by hand has no daily cap. Download five stock photos or fifty in an afternoon for a client mood board. Nobody counts, nobody throttles, nobody sends a follow-up email because there is no email to send it to.

What is not allowed is automated harvesting. Scripts that crawl the catalogue, bulk mirrors that copy the whole library to another server, and scrapers that pull thousands of files to build a dataset are all outside the license. Automated traffic of that kind may be blocked. The site is free for people, not for bots.

When the browser gets in the way

Occasionally a browser or an extension interferes with a direct file download. A few quick fixes:

• Check the download bar or downloads panel. Some browsers save silently and only show a small icon near the address bar.
• If the JPG opened in a new tab instead of saving, right-click the picture and choose "Save image as". The full-resolution file is what is displayed, so you lose nothing.
• Ad blockers and privacy extensions sometimes block download buttons on sites they have not seen before. Pause the extension for this site and click again.
• On a phone, long-press the image in the tab that opened and choose save to photos, or use the share sheet to send it to your files app.
• Corporate networks occasionally strip large downloads. Try a different connection or ask your IT team to allow the site.

If a specific image still fails after those steps, report it through the process described in the FAQ and include the slug so it can be checked.

Accounts exist to track, upsell, and email. None of that is needed to hand over a JPG. Skipping the sign-up keeps the site fast, keeps your inbox quiet, and means a colleague you send a link to can grab the same image in one click without being asked to register. Stock photos should be as easy to get as any other file on the web, and here they are.
